It took the author five years to carefully examine a total of 18 rolls of microfilm, dating from 1890 to 1917. Poring over and preserving every article of historical significance within 27 years of newspapers, he eventually preserved each and every article. This included digitizing, indexing and then restoring, what turned into thousands of articles. The articles cover a huge range of diverse topics ranging from local news to national to international.
He continued to come across and preserve a multitude of articles regarding our 16th president, Abraham Lincoln. These are fascinating articles, many delving into his early years and his private life. These include details that have long been forgotten or perhaps not ever known to the general public.
