The Encyclopedia of the History of Dundee Township is a 2-volume set of books with 33 chapters and 900 pages.

The speaker, Phil Aleo, is the author. He has selected 3 chapters of wide interest for this slide presentation,

1 – “The First Inhabitants. This segment of the presentation will dig into the Indian culture that once was located here.

2, next he will develop the history of a man that once lived here in Dundee, but became world famous; namely, Allan Pinkerton.

3 -  the final segment of his presentation will be filled with archive photos of the area well over 100 years ago, compared with current photos of the exact same area. “Then and Now”.

This will be an educational and entertaining way of stepping back in time right here within our locality.
